Confidence in a gift

If it could come gift wrapped I think confidence would be one of the greatest gifts you could give someone. I mean with confidence the world is really your oyster. There is not that nagging doubt of ‘what if’s’ because being confident would mean the ‘what if’s’ are well not important.

Yesterday I was lucky enough to go and see a wonderful speaker, Gail Reynolds and just by listening to her, a little package of confidence was sent my way.

No it was not gift wrapped and all pretty with ribbons flowing, in fact it didn’t even have my name on it! It was there for the taking and really it was up to me to grab it which of course I did.

Confidence comes in gift packages in all shapes and sizes, quite often it disguised and at all times it is up to you to grab that package and open it. Don’t shove it in a cupboard (the back of your brain) and let it be hidden.

Sometimes the package is in fact made by you but again you have to keep hold of it.

Me being a generous person I like to give out more than I like to receive, a flaw that well hampers progress really. But perhaps older and wiser who knows but actually I am up for any confidence gifts that are heading my way and with that of course I no doubt will be sending out more.

Any unconfident packages will be returned to sender or if I sent it to myself well it will be shredded in a virtual sense.

So look out for the those confidence gifts because if you look they are in fact there, just ready and waiting for you to unwrap.
