Until recently I had not heard of Zalando, once discovered I found out what a huge selection of clothes, shoes and accessories they sell. So busy looking at that I had failed to notice they had a home section too. Zalando wanted me to experience shopping from the home section and what they had to offer. So they very kindly gave me a voucher to choose what ever I liked, lucky me I know!
Firstly what hit me more was not only the massive choice but also the fact it was all so stylish. Many are continental brands as well as Zalando own home brand which offered excellent value. Though British myself I have to say a lot of Europe do have an enviable style that us Brits just don’t seem to have. Browsing all the sections was like an eye candy festival for me. So many gorgeous bits and you can search in different style too, such as bohemian, natural and seaside for example. Which also helps you match products together.
You can shop by room, brand or even colour which makes it easier to find things because the choice is massive. It is also shows the most popular in each section but me being me I scrolled through the lots finding individual things that were just right for us!
Me being a bit random I selected different things. My husband spotted this gorgeous melting clock which at £12 is an absolute bargain. I can not wait to put in on the shelf in the alcove of the house we are buying. It reminds me of Alice in Wonderland and I also love the fact it looks like it is melting! I couldn’t resist these Normann Copenhagen rocking glasses not only for drinks but you will see these with some pudding recipes in very soon. Well once we move! They look like mini goldfish bowls but they do really rock and it takes quite a push to actually knock them over.
To carry these gorgeous glasses on I had to have a new stylish tray and I felt the Kitsch tray was perfect as the house we are moving into say’s stylish and kitsch. Well that is what Bex and I have decided. I fell in love with these lovely glass jars which I confess I bought the stacking ones which I can no longer find on the website! They were a sale item so I won’t tease you with the one I did get but these are equally gorgeous.
Last but not least which was quickly adopted by Bex as she was poorly at the time, and now she doesn’t want to give it back is this most beautiful colour purple plaid throw. By Zalando themselves, I loved the pattern and the colour is so perfect. The throw itself is warm but not too heavy and I will be adding one for myself if I can not reclaim this one back from Bex. Actually Bex instragramed a picture of the throw and received loads of likes and lots of asks where she had got it, so I guess she deserves to keep it, don’t you think?
I could have spent hours and hours on the Zalando home section and order plenty more things which I love.
Zalando offer free delivery on everything and free returns too, which personally I think is brilliant. Which also includes a 30 day returns policy.
I placed my order on the Friday 2nd August late evening with the order confirmed straight away. I had an email on the morning of the 6th saying there may be a delay because one of the item needed to be source from another warehouse. Later that same day I got an email saying it had been dispatched and on the 8th it arrived via Yodel in a rather lovely box all packed beautifully and safely.
I highly recommend a visit to Zalando home section on there website where you won’t be disappointed at the choice though you may well be there for a while with all the lovely things to look at. I was thrilled with my order and love everything that I chose.
You can sign up to Zalando newsletter here where you will get a £5 voucher to spend with your order over £30.

I was sent a voucher from Zalando to spend on whatever I like. I would like to thank Jeremy for sending it to me. It has been a pleasure to spend it and when we move I am sure I will be visiting to choose some more bits!
