Make yummy reindeer poo

edible reindeer poo'sThese edible reindeer poo’s were really enjoyed though obviously I didn’t aim to make poo. Yesterday morning I had been decorating some cakes for a recipe later on in the week, which left me with some melted chocolate. Having not eaten breakfast yet it seemed a bad choice to reach for a spoon so instead I reached for the dry cranberries and seedless raisins.

I mixed them altogether and they stuck together more than I expected, hence the reindeer poo’s were created. I just place teaspoon full onto a plate with baking paper on it and left to dry. For a frosted look poo, just sprinkle with icing sugar.

These are so easy to make that it one the children would enjoy to make too. Perhaps fill a box, a cello bag  or jar with them. Add a fun tag saying what they are, to give someone with a sense of humour.

I have no idea what reindeer poo looks like, I suspect maybe a bit bigger but in any case it brought a smile to the faces in this house. You could of course call them fruit clusters, maybe add some orange zest, a drop of brandy and spices and call them Christmas clusters but here they are reindeer poo’s!!!

Totally un-poo related you may also like my recipe for spiced cranberry and apple Christmas pie’s. A mince-pie with a bit of a difference.
