Stocking filler ideas

Stocking filler ideas

I think stocking’s are one of those bits of Christmas that everyone loves. Filled with special treats, little extra’s and one of two slightly bigger things that are too small to go under the Christmas tree. Stocking’s should be unwrapped with joy, popped back in the stocking and taken out bit by bit to enjoy over the festive season. What do you think? I also equally love getting bits for stocking too, actually probably more than … Read entire article »

Discover the awesome world – Book Review

‘Discover the awesome world’ is a fantastic book from the discovery channel. With a name like that, when Helen asked if we would like to take a look at a copy, Oscar sprung. He is a big fan of non-fiction books and loves anything that is going to make him go ‘WOW’. ‘WOW’ was exactly what he said when he dipped into it as soon as he came home from school.  It has 6 sections over … Read entire article »

Meal Planning Monday

Meal Planning Monday

I am looking out the window and I am thinking my meal planning has to be warm meals, minimal hassle. If this weather keeps up it means I will be regularly wet. The evening or pre-dark walk with the dogs will mean even wellies and coat will still mean I return soggy. I can not bring myself to wear waterproof trousers I really can’t. Having said that count myself lucky living on a hill as … Read entire article »

This year I have swapped to dry cranberries that worked even better. One I nearly always have dry cranberries in the cupboard and two so … Read entire article »
