Sponsored Video – Madagascar 3 – Europe’s Most Wanted in 3D
Bex and Oscar are getting older and finding a film to go and see at the cinema that both would love and us too is getting increasingly tricky. Many a holiday we would have a family treat to the cinema and I kind of miss that. While watching the trailer to Madagascar 3 I was sat there thinking yes I am sure I could at least get Oscar to see it with me. The film makers at Dreamworks think about us parents too. Many a Dreamworks film I have watched and sat there giggling and smiling sometimes as much as the children, quite often even more. The humour of the film makers often come through for us adults too whilst making in totally child friendly. So these guys have ended up in Europe … Read entire article »

A Meningitis reminder
Just over a year ago I typed this post. It was a very sad time and one for me now thinking about it makes me feel as sad. Today I am writing this post just as a reminder that meningitis can strike at anytime to anyone. When Eloise passed away one thing that striked me as most terrifying was people’s lack of information on it. The number of parents who said my child is immunised to … Read entire article »

So how was Mother’s Day for you?
It’s funny one Mother’s Day isn’t it? As I am more of a giving rather than receiving kind of person and sadly I don’t as such have a Mum to share Mother’s Day with it leaves me on the receiving end. My wish for a great Mother’s Day would be home-made cards, and yes I was lucky enough to get two beautiful cards made by the fair hands of my children. A cup of tea made … Read entire article »

Love and hate of decluttering
In the last day or so I have been doing a bit of decluttering and general blitzing of the house. Yesterday afternoon brought the ‘Linen cupboard’ the name ‘linen cupboard’ conjures up images of Egyptian cotton sheets and soft fluffy towels. The reality of course is perhaps slightly different! The fact that you needed an avalanche warning when getting out a fresh towel will give you more of a true picture. Now I admit that hoarding … Read entire article »
